Director, DP and Journalist based in Cologne. This website contains all of my artistic endeavors as a filmmaker. Coming from a journalistic background I prefer to focus on storytelling and real-life narratives. This is obvious in my DOCUMENTARIES, due to the nature of the documentary genre. For my MUSIC VIDEOS, I work closely with the artist, to visually convey what their lyrics suggest. Therefore the video is conclusive to the music and provides an extra layer to the whole project. Still, sometimes a video just has to look nice and that's fair game too. As of now, SHORT FILMS are a training ground to achieve my ultimate goal of one day shooting a feature film. I am currently working on my second short and will gladly update the website once it's done. EDITS are more of a byproduct of everything film related. It's a nice way to get creative with your material and also a welcome exercise to try out new techniques.
